#007 (Special Color Page!) A Fangirls Day (part 1)

This is the first page of our "Fangirl" story-arc, starring Debbie Daw. I really suffered for this page... it's in full color!
For your information: The Triangle Man is in no way affiliated to the song you may now be thinking about. He was invented by a schoolfriend of mine (we shall call him Mister Frost for now) who created him with nothing but a ruler (the geometric drawing tool) and the sheer power of imagination about 15 years ago. In the world of Sparrowbridge, he's a well established comic and -soon to be- movie hero! And Debbie is one of his his biggest fans.

The internet is a revolutionary thing. What fascinated me most about it is, that it's the first mass medium that takes (scientifically spoken) culture's smalles components (memes), just a little bit of information, an image, a line, a quote and it evolves into something that seems to make a lot of sense... and out of nothing but a little idea grows something like a cult phenomenon. And by the way... it's Sean Connery. He IS the MAN. Always has been. Always will be. And so can you, even if you feel like nothing more but a dog.

I don't really think that Debbie Daw is a violent person... she's just totally sure that what she does helps her best friend. Come to think about it, Jack's problem is not an uncommon thing. I even suspect that a LOT of us (especially YOU) have the same problem - and wouldn't we like to have a friend like Debbie who just makes a decision for us, because we're not able to?
Talking about Paisley Jones, she's more of a radical person. She plays the bass guitar for a Punk Rock band called "RSPK"! She's finished school two years ago and she's three years older than Jack and Debbie.

Welcome to Sparrowbridge! In our first storyline Debbie Daw and Paisley Jones help out where help is needed: Jack, Debbies best friend and Paisleys little brother, has a problem he never ever even suspected he had! But true friendship conquers all!

Nerdy info: This episode was published for the first time in 2006 but this is a stylish remake!
